ABOUT ME

I believe that when we’re born, God gives each of us certain gifts. For some, it’s music, writing, teaching, hospitality, or caregiving, and many more. For me, that gift was art.

As someone diagnosed with ADD and often feeling scattered, art became the one thing that quieted my mind. It gave me focus, peace, and a sense of purpose. Growing up, I struggled with anxiety and insecurities and often felt like the black sheep, but art was the one thing that made me feel confident and seen.

From the time I could hold a crayon, I was constantly creating. Scribbles turned into drawings full of life and emotion, and my mom would always tell me I could “make things jump off the page.” When I was seven years old, I sat beside my mom while she painted animals with acrylics and decided to try it myself. I painted an elephant, giraffe, zebra, and more — and she was shocked at how naturally painting came to me.

Over the years, my love for art continued to grow as I explored new mediums and creative pursuits. Being largely self-taught, I always had a desire to push myself further as an artist. In college, I studied watercolor, though I knew oil painting was where my heart truly was.

Along the way, I would be asked for various commissions, including pet portraits, family portraits, landscapes, seascapes, and selling some of my original artwork, including resin geodes and custom bibles.

Later, my husband enrolled me in an art academy called Atelier Dojo, where I spent two years studying traditional fine art through charcoal figure and cast drawing. That experience refined my technical skill in ways I never expected and became an incredible foundation for my work today.

It was during this season that I discovered my passion for live wedding and event painting. I prayed over the direction of my career, created my first sample wedding painting, and eventually painted live at my sister’s wedding. From there, doors began to open, bookings began to come in, and Tiffanie Spencer Studio was born.

I truly believe none of this would have been possible without my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through every step of this journey, He has continued to guide, strengthen, and bless me, not only in my business, but in who I am as a person.

It is such an honor to create meaningful heirloom pieces that families can cherish for generations. I never take that responsibility lightly, and I will always strive to create artwork that feels timeless, emotional, and deeply personal.

One of my favorite quotes as a creative is by Albert Einstein:

“The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.”
